History
Throughout the Middle Ages, the Denbighshire Region was a borderland between England and the heartland of North Wales. The old name for much of it was ‘The Lands Between.’

This website hopes to tempt the visitor to explore Denbighshire by highlighting some of the listed medieval sites and buildings which survive throughout the County. All the places mentioned have their origins prior to 1600.
